Children's Ministry
Rev.: Shelly Holder

Welcome to Children's Ministries

First United Methodist Church, Lancaster

Our children's program provides ministry to children ages birth to fifth grade.  Our goal is for them to know God's love and learn how to follow Jesus in their lives every day.

We offer children's ministry through these opportunities:

  • Preschool Sunday School (3k-4k)
  • Elemenytary Sunday School
  • Children's Ensemble Choir
  • Sunday Morning Nursery
  • Christian Preschool Day School for ages 2K to 4K yrs old
  • Special ministry events and outings for families and children

People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them.  But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.  Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it."  And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.          - Mark 10:13-16
